The original Boat House at The Swan at Streatley has been renovated and refurbished and is now the Boat House Deli & Cafe.  If you like coffee you’ll love ours!  We’ve installed the Ferrari of all coffee machines, using the best quality coffee served by trained Baristas.  The menu includes a delicious, selection of freshly prepared kitchen salads, quiches and hearty sandwiches to eat in or take away.  We also stock a range of exclusive Boat House gifts & treats, as well as everyday essentials such as milk, eggs and fresh bread. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome in the Boat House!

The Boat House is a calm and contemporary space with a mezzanine gallery, balconies and a large terrace on the river. With sharing tables inside and out and a delightful courtyard, bike racks and free parking for our customers, the Boat House Deli & Café is a popular meeting place for locals, walkers, cyclists and hotel guests.

The Boat House is also a unique venue for evening functions and parties. It's FREE OF CHARGE to hire - so if you're looking for somewhere really lovely on the river for your party get in touch today.


The Boat House Deli & Cafe will be open as usual with the following festive changes:

Christmas Eve: 8am - 8pm

Christmas Day:  Open for breakfast from 8am - 10am

Boxing Day: 8am - 3pm

New Year’s Day: 8am - 3pm

Throughout December and the festive period we're serving mulled wine and mince pies in the Boat House from 11am each day (12pm on Sundays)



For guests and locals joining Goring & Streatley’s unique Christmas Eve Torchlight Procession (one of the Daily Telegraph’s Top 10 place to be in the UK on Christmas Eve), the Boat House will be open until 8pm for hot drinks, refreshments and festive treats, and the Bar will be open for drinks and fireside chats until 11pm
