A gong sound bath is a powerful sonic meditation which enables deep relaxation to bring about peace and well being for improved health. The vibrations from the gongs assist the release of emotional and energy blockages in the body and stimulate deep healing on a cellular level.
The gong slows the brainwaves, inducing a dreamlike state and opening us up to take an inner journey where our sense of time dissipates and we are left to simply ‘be’ and vibrate with the gong.
You may be curious about the healing benefits of sound meditation, or simply looking for a relaxing morning.
This session will be run by Alison Russell. Alison is a Gong Practitioner and Member of the College of Sound Healing. Having been introduced to Sound Meditation and the healing and relaxing benefits herself, she decided to qualify to lead her own sessions and now teaches regularly throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
No prior experience is necessary to benefit from this morning’s introductory session, however, this is not recommended for women in their first trimester of pregnancy.
Wear loose and comfortable clothing and please bring a blanket and cushion if you would like one. Please note that if the weather is fine, we may run this session on the private riverside lawn outside the yoga studio.
